WE NEED YOU TO PLANT A TREE
On November 14, 2009, the City of Phoenix and the ASU Chapter of Golden Key Int'l Honour Society have teamed again to strike it green in downtown. We will be planting over 50 trees and we need your help. There is a chance to meet one of the nation's best leaders, Mayor Phil Gordon.
WHEN: November 14, 2009, 8:00AM
WHERE: 1st Ave and Roosevelt.
PARKING: Trinity Cathedral - 110 W. Roosevelt Street
(NWC of 1st Avenue / Roosevelt Street), parking is located in the parking
structure to the north of the Church.
Children's Puppet Theater - 302 W. Latham
Street (NWC of 3rd Avenue / Latham Street) - across from the Japanese Friendship
Gardens. Parking is available at the rear of the theater as well.
Trees will be planted at these locations:
Trinity Cathedral - 2nd Ave to 1st Drive on the north
side of Roosevelt
Historic
Portland Park - 2nd Ave to 3rd Ave on the south side of Portland Place
Latham
Street between 3rd Ave and 5th Ave on the north side of Latham.
